Downtown in the Blink of an Eye
A Small-Town Atmosphere Yet Close to the Center
Perched atop Ládví Hill, Kobylisy has several lookout spots with breathtaking vistas. The neighborhood mostly consists of smaller apartment houses, family homes, and villas, including two Functionalist masterpieces by Richard Ferdinand Podzemný. You won’t find any large administrative buildings here—Kobylisy has managed to maintain its residential character.
Close to Water and to Nature
Kobylisy boasts 2 popular swimming spots: Stírka and Ládví, so you won’t have far to go to cool off during the summer’s hottest days. Swimmers and families alike will enjoy the covered swimming pool located only 50m away. For nature walks, head out to the Čimický or Ďáblický háj parks—both are accessible on foot from Viladům Vrší. If long hikes are more to your liking, then explore the nearby vast Draháňské Valley.
